Hi, I'm Sally — and The Orange Mitten is my little corner of the world where baking is everything. I started this home bakery out of a deep, genuine love for the craft, and I haven't looked back since.
Every loaf, every cake, every pastry I make is baked from scratch using the finest ingredients — no shortcuts, no compromises. From beautifully twisted babkas to mango cheesecakes that melt on your tongue, I put intention, patience, and a whole lot of heart into every single thing I bake.
Sourdough loaves, zebra breads, star breads — all slow-fermented and deeply flavourful.
Chocolate, pesto, cinnamon — every babka I make is a labour of love twisted to perfection.
Birthdays, celebrations, just-because — I design and bake each cake to make your moment unforgettable.
My signature — a dreamy mango cheesecake topped with delicately rolled fresh mango roses.
Soft Bavarian-style pretzels and hot cross buns that are dangerously good fresh out of the oven.
